The days go by so slow, but the years fly by so fast.
I see you. You are juggling all the things. Waking up each day, hoping to just make it through to bed time.
But then you blink. — and your newborn baby is already two.
Each day feels like a million years, full of chubby arms around your neck, choosing your battles, and bedtime snuggles. The sweet and the hard, all wrapped up in a bundle of joy and energy that you could never live without.
It’s a struggle to make every moment meaningful, and you pray you will remember the way those tiny hands feel pressed up against your cheek.
That’s where I come in.
I aim to capture the now, and the real family you’ve built.
I want all the smiles and laughter, but also the quiet moments and the times where only a snuggle from momma will fix the problem. Because the days where a snuggle fixes everything pass by quickly. So when kids aren’t smiling? That’s ok - we take the quiet moments as they come, and smiles will come later when were aren’t forcing them!
While some photographers just want children to smile at the camera, I want to capture all the emotions of your family.
What to Expect
Family portraits here go a little differently.
We don't all pose for the camera.
We don’t yell at kids that want to just explore.
We don't have to bribe for best smiles.
We laugh, and we love, and we play.
We make family picture time fun.
I capture the real moments - the ones you’ll look back on in five years and cherish because they are real pictures of your real family. This means you, as parents, need to be prepared to play and have fun too!

Why you need to schedule these today
There’s a song by Trace Adkins called “You’re gonna miss this”, and every time my kids start driving me up a wall, all I can think about is the verse about one baby crying, the other screaming, and about how you’ll miss even those moments. The time when your children are little is so small in comparison to the rest of your time here on earth - but it is some of the most meaningful times of your entire life. These are the times that you dreamt of for your future when you were younger, and the times you look back on when you’re old.
