THE EXPERIENCE
Our shooting style is excitedly unobtrusive. While we aim to stay as much out of the way as possible, we also are generally so excited about your day and your details that we may fawn a little bit over everything we see, all while telling your story. This is the heart of what we do and why we do it. Your wedding day will be filled with so many extraordinary moments - intimate, incredible, heartfelt and joyful. Those moments that pass so quickly will be captured perfectly. The photographs you take home will be album-sized time machines that instantly bring you back to your wedding day and all the feelings you shared.
Choose a photographer who values your dreams.
You aren’t just shot list to check off, or a Pinterest board to follow. We don’t capture your pictures just for our portfolio. Instead, we invest the time getting to know you and your partner. Because of that, it won’t feel awkward when you are with us. You will be more comfortable in front of our cameras, and your pictures will have the natural, authentic feel of true heirlooms that are true to you.

After almost 15 years and well over 200 weddings (and that’s just counting Becca’s), we are experienced in dealing with almost every situation and lighting environment you can imagine. We are committed to responding to your needs before and after the wedding day, so you never have to worry about being ghosted. Whatever we can do to ensure your day goes smoothly - photographically or otherwise - you better believe we’ll do it!
You want photos that last through generations.
Our goal is to make your photographs look similar to what it actually looked like when they were taken. We don’t want you even to notice the editing when you look at your photos - we just want you to see the memories. Our goal is that ten years from now you won’t look back and say, “that looks so 2020” (remember selective color, anyone?).
We want your images to be so timeless that your great-grandkids only see the moments, not an editing fad.
It is about emotions
not a pose.
Our goal when photographing you is that by the end of the session, you are being yourselves. We know every Pinterest pose out there, and love the look of some of them as much as you do… but what draws us to those poses is that they were two people caught in a real moment, and we are drawn to that.
We might ask you to do something ridiculous to get you into a moment - don’t judge us when we make you snuggle, frolic, or do silly things. And we keep you moving, so you don't get that frozen smile or forced pose feeling. Eventually you’ll be posing yourselves and forgetting how awkward you first felt, so when you look back all you see is the moments, not the poses.

Secure Your Date
Once you choose your collection, all you have to do is sign a contract and pay your retainer - then the date is yours!
This is where it gets good! We pick a location, I send you all the tips and tricks, and we spend an hour having SO MUCH FUN. Oh, and getting some great pictures too.

An $1000 retainer and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day reserved on our calendar. Three months before your wedding you will finalize your collection options, and the remaining balance is due one month before your wedding.

First of all, I just want to say how sorry I am that we live in a world where you still (or ever) feel the need to ask that. Yes, 1000%, absolutely. Love is love is love.

Aside from gorgeous pictures, my main goal is to tell YOUR story. I don't want to show up at your wedding and just take pictures. I want to show up at your wedding and know that your grandma painted all of the seating cards because she used to be an artist, that your friend made the cake, and that the keychain you give to her the morning of the wedding is part of an inside joke from your first date. I want to know these things so I can capture all the parts of the day that make it yours.

Have no fear - from my very first response you will know exactly which photographers are available on your wedding date, and when you book with us, it will be with the photographer you choose. No last second photographer switches or surprises!

Yes! Upon receiving your online gallery of images, you will also get a full print release.

Absolutely! I love destination weddings, and adore traveling. Send me more information on your travel plans, and I will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.

Of course not! I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional photo lab, but it is not required.
