Brooke + Dan | Buffalo Spring Wedding
I was so excited to photograph this wedding! I'm starting the year off on top of things, and although I have quite a few weddings left from last year to blog, I wanted to get Brooke + Dan's quiet affair up quickly. I absolutely love photographing intimate wedding ceremonies and elopements. Dan and Brooke knew exactly what was important to them on their wedding day, and decided to forego a huge event in order to celebrate two families becoming one with those that meant the most to them. I adored how they included Dan's daughters in the wedding ceremony, and loved that all their siblings were part of their wedding party.
It was a pretty dreary, slightly rainy, slightly cold, typical spring Buffalo day. We did outdoor portraits in record time, to keep kids (and adults!) from freezing too much, but I was amazed at how tough everyone was! There was minimal complaining, and I am so thankful for bridesmaids and groomsmen that are this understanding in less than optimal conditions!
Brooke, Dan and I did the rest of their portraits at InnBuffalo - which is the most elegant historic Inn I have ever seen. The entire place is full of history and gorgeousness. Carved wooden walls, beautiful sitting rooms, stained glass windows... If you need a place to stay in Buffalo, you should definitely check it out!
