Julia + Mark | Moonbrook Country Club
Julia + Mark were married last Saturday at Camp Mission Meadows in Jamestown, NY (about an hour south of Buffalo, NY). From the moment I arrived for the getting ready portraits at Moonbrook Country Club, I knew we were going to have an amazing day. Julia was practically bursting with excitement, randomly saying things like, "I'm getting married today!" with a squeal at the end. And her bridesmaids and both moms (of the bride and groom) were just as excited.
But it was at the ceremony that I truly realized how much time Julia and Mark spent making sure that this day included everyone that was special to them. Julia's father performed the ceremony, which basically made me tear up as soon as he started speaking. Her mother and aunt sang, while her brother accompanied them on piano. All of their siblings each read a verse from the bible that Julia and Mark felt spoke to them and their love for one another. And they were married at the place they first met over 7 years ago as campers in high school.
These two were high school sweethearts that made a long distance relationship last over seven years, through college, some med school, and hundreds of miles. I was truly touched by the entire day, and the love that flowed not only between Julia + Mark, but between both families, and all of their friends.
