Sarah + Jason | Pearl on the Webb
This was one of my all time favorite weddings. From the first second I met Sarah and Jason, I knew I was in for an amazing time. Sarah sat down at our meeting and the first words out of her mouth were, “We already know we are booking you, so you don’t have to sell yourself - we just want to get to know you.” And we proceeded to talk for about an hour over coffee and tea about everything from running marathons (them, not me) to children, and also all about their wedding plans.
Sarah and Jason’s engagement portraits were one of my favorites, and by the amount of times I’ve had people mention “the picture of the girl in the red skirt in the Botanical Gardens” to me, I’m guessing they were a lot of other people’s favorites as well.
So then there was the wedding.
To say I had been looking forward to this day for over a year is putting it mildly. I was almost sad when it came, because I knew the day would go so quickly! But I was also so excited to watch these two bond their love together in front of all of their friends and families.
Plus, I was just really excited to get to spend the whole day with the two of them, because they are the type of people you just want to be around all the time. It isn’t even that they are both so warm and welcoming (they are), or that they make you feel like you are the most important person to them (they do)… but there is something comforting about just being near them, that makes you feel like you belong there. Finding one person that makes you feel that way is a gift - but when two people like that find their soulmate in each other, it is amazing.
So, of course I arrived pumped up on caffeine, and walked into an entire room of stunningly beautiful women, who were all just as awesome as Sarah, and knew the day was going to be one for the books!
