Julia + Mark | Winter Engagement
Originally we were going to embrace Buffalo's winter weather, and do some outdoor engagement portraits in the beautiful snow. So we scheduled, and hoped for snow. Yes. We HOPED for snow. Little did we know what this winter had planned for Western New York. So we planned, and were excited that the snow was landing so beautifully on the branches. And we figured out the prettiest park for snowy pictures.
And then it got cold.
I'm talking eyeballs freezing cold. The type of cold that makes me worry if my camera will work for the whole session, and the type of cold that makes everyone re-think outdoor engagement portraits.
So we adjusted and decided on the Erie County Botanical Gardens. And it was perfect.
More than perfect, actually... because right off to the side of the gardens, I found these awesome evergreen trees that had the perfect layer of snow.
And then Julia and Mark won the day by actually throwing snow in the air and completely covering themselves. I love my wedding couples!
