Sarah + LJ | Puerto Rico Engagement

When Sarah and LJ were planning their destination wedding to Puerto Rico, we had talked about doing an engagement session here… but then realized how silly that would be, since we would have all of Puerto Rico’s amazing culture at our fingertips if we did one there instead! So we planned to get to Old San Juan early in the evening, spend some time there, and then switch things up to go to a beach for some sunset beach engagement portraits too… We didn’t count on how hard it would be to find parking in Old San Juan in the evening. Between people shopping, going out to dinner, and the massive amounts of tourists, it was insane. Thankfully LJ is an amazingly calm driver, and didn’t give up. We finally found a spot (after probably about an hour of looking!), and decided to skip the beach portraits and concentrate on the beauty of Old San Juan. The frustration of looking for a parking spot was worth it, and if I ever get the chance to go back, you better believe I’ll be hitting up Old San Juan for portraits again!
