Samantha + Jason | Engagement

It’s another smokey, hazy day here in Buffalo - which made me decide to blog Sam and Jason’s engagement portraits from the last time it was smokey and hazy in Buffalo last month! While I’m hating the smell in the air, keeping my kids inside and all of the things that come with bad air quality days, my heart is going out for the Canadian families that are losing their homes, their forests and have it so much worse than we do right now.

But back to Sam and Jason - we met in front of Shea’s for some quick downtown pictures, wandered down to the mural on Tupper Street, doubled back to the view of Main Street, and then decided to totally switch things up, going to the Cobblestone area, on top of a parking garage and ending at Tifft Nature Preserve. I like to call this the Tour of Buffalo Portrait Locations, where you get a little bit of everything! These two were absolutely troopers - with Sam spraining an ankle halfway through and still carrying on like it wasn’t hurting her at all!
